Competition Cat
1995 Le Mans 24 Hours: There were high hopes for the two privately entered Jaguar XJ220Cs at Le Mans in 1995 after chassis 002 had celebrated a GT-class victory in 1993 before being controversially disqualified. Alas, it was not to be. This is XJ220C-001, driven by Bernard Thuner, Olindo Iacobelli and Win Percy, looking beautifully brutal before an accident caused the big cat’s retirement on lap 124.
