Glimpse of Victory
June 17-18, 1995 – Le Mans 24 Hours: McLaren’s GTR development car, chassis #01R, entered by Kokusai Kaihatsu UK in the GT1 category and wearing its understated black and grey Ueno Clinic Tokyo livery, on its way to a legendary victory. Driven by JJ Lehto, Yannick Dalmas and Masanori Sekiya, the no. 59 McLaren F1 GTR beat the much faster Le Mans prototypes in one of the wettest races in the history of the event.
