‘The Jaguar Sport XJR-15 was a joint project designed and developed by Tom Walkinshaw’s TWR company for Jaguar. The philosophy of the 1998 Le Mans-winning Jaguar XJR-9’s carbon chassis tub was retained for the XJR-15 road car, introduced in November 1990. This made the XJR-15 the first fully carbon fibre road car. This is the final Walkinshaw-approved sketch of the car.’ – Peter Stevens
