‘An illustration of the first McLaren F1 completed for a customer and the only production car built in 1993. It was ordered by the Brunei Royal Family who specified very dark Dorchester Grey paint with a red stripe down each flank. The interior was upholstered in matching dark grey leather with red stitching. I quite often did special sketches to show prospective clients what their particular colour choice would look like. This car eventually joined the extensive car collection of Prince Jefri.’ – Peter Stevens
